Dead Tour Opens In Greensboro [Relix Daily News] - The Dead began their spring tour last night in Greensboro at the Coliseum. The group opened with a fitting "Music Never Stopped" and delivered two sets of fully-segued music. Vocals were shared by Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and Warren Haynes. Weir led the group through such songs as "Jack Straw," "Estimated Prophet," "I Need A Miracle" and "Truckin'," while Haynes sang on "Touch of Grey," "Shakedown Street," "All Along The Watchtower" and "Caution." Lesh mostly contributed bass and harmony vocals although he did deliver lead vocals on "New Potato Caboose."
